Who? All you need is one person willing to make a change in the community! If you have a team, that’s even better. Gather a group of passionate individuals or take charge on your own. Up to you!

What? Our goal is to increase access to personal and menstrual hygiene supplies and educate the community on menstrual hygiene and period poverty. However, you chose to go about that is up to you. Here are some ideas:

• Start a club at your school/university 
• Start a drive and collect products to be donated 
• Do a bake/bracelet/craft/etc. sale to raise money for menstrual supplies
• Host a panel or club meeting to educate your community about menstrual hygiene or period poverty 
• Invite a guest speaker
• Contact local legislature about menstrual product and pink tax related legislation 
• Or any other idea that aligns with our mission… be creative! We are excited to see what you come up with.

Why? No matter how you choose to go about this, you are making a positive impact in your community. This is what is most important and most rewarding around being a part of Tampon Express.

But that’s not all: Tampon Express becomes a great resume booster whether you are applying to undergraduate universities, medical school, law school, internships, or elsewhere. Being a leader in your community and making a tangible impact shows initiative, collaboration, responsibility, and more. 

You will also be featured on the Tampon Express National Executive Board and the Tampon Express social media accounts which will only further your professional career.
